Horse (Persuasion trilogy)

Horse forms the second part of the Persuasion trilogy, which explores ethical dilemmas created where personal and public interests conflict.

Presented as a live performance and an online Screendance, Horse is a script-based dance work with unreliable narration, telling the story of five people involved in an incident during a deadly public health crisis, who struggle with the relativity of truth.

The central question facing each of the five individuals is: when relying on sources of information with uncertain credibility, in a rapidly changing shared situation, how do they assess the risks and will they help preserve the health of others?

An investigation into changing perspectives, with regard to risk assessment, personal freedom, and social responsibility, the project is informed by the collaborators' experiences of events, information, and society, during the Covid-19 pandemic.
